Pima Air and Space Museum

It was our first weekend here in Tucson so Jeff planned a trip for us to the Air and Space Museum.  The boys loved it(including Jeff)!

I was pretty fascinated by the SR-71 Blackbird.  It is huge and only carries 2 people at a time.  It traveled from California to Washington DC in 1 hour!  My dad saw one of these take off in Okinawa when he was playing golf.  The plane flies at 80,000 feet and normal airplanes fly at 30,000 ft.  It is also a spy plane that takes pics from that height.

This airplane looks like a Blimp to me. Jared was having fun in the sand.
Jared got to make this model airplane.

And he found the airplane that matched it.
They got in trouble cause both the boys were in this airplane at the same time so Cam took over.
Jared was scared of this one so Cam jumped in the picture instead.

The Air Force 1 plane John F. Kennedy flew in.

Some pretty artistic people painted on several of these planes.

We really enjoyed ourselves today.  Hopefully we can have more adventures while we are here in Tucson.
